Kia ora James, thanks for your blog, tumeke e hoa. We came in towards the end of the project and helped to complete it and then organised the launch of Google Maori, in which two Google reps attended (a first EVER for Google) - it was wonderful. If you go to our website you can access the TVOne news piece which covered the event (for Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori - Maori Language Week) it was inspirational actually.

From our own research (which we've undertaken with Wananga, Kura Kaupapa, Kohanga Reo, Runanga and Hapu) we've been able to ascertain that thousands of people use the resource each day. So we're really pleased to have been part of the project.

There is more coming, but we'll fill you in on that at a later date ;)

Kia kaha me kia manawanui!
